• Scott’s “Strawberries and Cream” piece received an Award of Excellence in the TOPARTAwards Fall Online Competition

• Scott’s piece “Petunias” won Best Painting by a Signature/Master Signature Artist at NOAPS Best of America! in Alexandria, VA

• His “Petunias” piece is currently in the OPA Western Regional Exhibition at the Brushworks Gallery in Salt Lake City, Utah

• You can see Scott’s “Petunias” piece in an article titled “Regional Reflections” in the October issue of American Art Collector highlighting the Western Regional Exhibition with the OPA.

• No doubt one of Scott’s greatest achievements in his art career, he has received Master Signature status with the National Oil and Acrylic Painter’s Society.

• By far, Scott’s greatest achievement ever…as of December 2015, he received his OPAM Master Signature status from the Oil Painters of America. Not only does this allow the artist to put the initials ‘OPAM’ after their name on all paintings but allows them to bypass jurying on all future OPA shows and many other wonderful perks. This year, 15 tried out and Scott was one of 3 that were chosen. Out of over 4000 members, he will be one of 55 Master Signature members to represent the Oil Painters of America. • No doubt, one of Scott’s most decorated opportunities of his career, he was also accepted and invited by the Allied Artists of America to be an Elected Member, which is the highest level of membership. A great honor, this allows the artist to bypass the jury process every other year for their Annual Shows, hold office in the organization, and display works on their website.

• His Floral Painting DVD is out! It is $55. plus $5. for shipping. It runs 2 hrs 27 mins long.

• He is coming out with a new DVD of a Cast Drawing Demo. It runs 54 minutes long, and is $30.00 plus an additional $5.00 for shipping.

• Scott was invited to be published in the prestigious Best of Worldwide Still Life Artists Vol. II. This is a competition where the pieces go into a hard bound table top book. Scott was allowed to bypass the jurying process and will have 4 of his works in the book.
